Upon completion of studies, the graduates of the program:
- possess specialized skills concerning the effective management of critical issues related to the organization and operation of Greek local authorities.
- have understood and can apply the modern tools and the methodologies of the design and provision of services by the local authorities.
- are able to design and apply specialized plans of action and interventions for the advancement of the operation of the local authorities.
- possess the required skills for making decisions, aiming at the effective assessment of the beneficiaries by the local authorities and the design and provision of services, which satisfy these needs.
- possess a solid and pluralist, methodological, theoretical and empirical basis of knowledge which will allow them to be able to work individually or in teams aiming at the investigation, analysis and solution of problems, especially concerning the design and the application of policies in the local government.
- are able to undertake administrative duties and positions of responsibility in their field of specialization and to handle individually or in teams, possible problems, which concern the exercise of their responsibilities.
- possess the required theoretical and empirical knowledge for the promotion of reforms and changes in the local authorities.
